FEC Consultants Plan 2nd 'Foundations' Workshop

Stone Mountain, GA- Five of the leisure entertainment industy's most respected consultants, facility planners and operators will combine forces to present a unique three-day education institute called Foundations Entertainment University from Feb 3-5, 2004 at Stone Mountain Park, Stone Mountain, GA(outsite Atlanta).

The intensice three-day training sessions will teach attendees the secrets of successfully planning, designing, developing and operating new or renovated location-based entertainment facilities. The curriculum applies to anything and everything from an undersized game room that complements and single anchor facility(bowling, skating, miniature golf, etc.) to familty entertainment centers of all sizes, to a multi-million dollar standalone indoor/outdoor pocket theme park. In addition to comprehensive classroom sessions, Foundations students will enjoy the opportunity to network and brainstorm with the seminar leaders and leading suppliers during meals and in relaxed after-hours sessions.

Together, the five instructors have more than 100 years of combined experience in their fields. The are: Randy White of White Hutchinson Leisure & Learning Group; Frank Seninsky of Alpha Omega Amusements, Amusements Entertainment Management and Alpha-BET Entertainment; Jerry Merola of Amusement Entertainment Management; Alan Fluke of Fun Werks, Inc.; and Peter Olesen of Peter F. Olesen & Associates.

Topics covered by the Foundations conference will include the market, site selection, feasibility, costs, financing, design, food and beverage, games, safety, marketing, birthday parties, group business, legal requirements,operations and more.

Registration may be accomplished online at FoundationsUniversity.com. For those who register by Jan 15, 2004, tuition os $695 oer individual or $1,200 for up to three attendees from the same company. Prices rise $200 after Jan. 15. Fee includes meals and tuition but does not include hotel accomodations. However, a special conference rate is available at the Stone Mountain Inn.

Graduates of the conference programm will also receive a complete, bound copy of all presentation materials, as well as a full set of worksheets. The conference faculty will issue every graduate a Foundations Entertainment University diploma, suitable for framing. In additon, attendees will receive sponsor demos and special discounts.
